Clovis & Clothilde Paris

I’ve been designing pattern and motif for almost two year for Clovis & Clothilde Paris, a french collection of beautiful socks for women and man, made with premium cotton and tights for women.  The idea I proposed is to introduce patterns with imagination, emotions, bespoke colours, expressive forms that speak about personalities, not be afraid of being different, a story, renewed each season.

For collection last year, I introduced beautiful traditional patterns and forms from Indonesia, learned from each language of the forms, shapes, colors and then “translated it” to a  new language. My architecture background has urged me to transform them into some colorful and playful geometric forms. And it’s not necessarily need to be a flower batik patterns from Java when you associate traditional pattern. Sumatera, Papua, Borneo are very rich with their own personalities.

They just launched their online boutique on Esty for overseas shipping.
