The Great Slurp

“The Great Slurp” is my design entry for Japanese Art design challenge on Threadless.

The Great Slurp submission

I was inspired by Hokusai’s painting “The Great Wave off Kanagawa”, bowl of ramen, and japanese Seigaiha waves pattern. I have to admit that I’m crazy about japanese food and traditional patterns. The moment I saw this design challenge, I knew I had to make something with ramen.

Here I was using the same color palette from Hokusai’s painting.

Another two days left before the scoring period ends. For the love of ramen and Hokusai’s art, I would be happy if you could score my design on the link below to help it to get printed. Arigatou!! (ノ>▽<)ノ
